New York Tribune Building

Designed by Richard Morris Hunt who was the 1st American Architect to study at the Ecole des Beaux Arts (and demolished in 1966), the tallest building in New York at 260 ft. is the New York Tribune Building   

In 1872 Horace Greeley Defeated as the Presidential Candidate for the Liberal Republican Party was longtime abolitionist, founder, and editor of the New York Tribune.
